Automatic Gates, Company
Ashwood Timber Gates began in the garage at the home of the original owner in the suburb of Ashwood in Melbourne in 1958.
The business was taken over by Ray Hilliard in 1980 and has expanded its operations to become one of Australia's leading gate specialists.
Today, our company caters to our clients needs by providing a diverse product range to suit each unique installation. We now manufacture wrought iron, aluminium and timber gates for both the residential and commercial market.
Automation of existing gates is also a major part of our business today. Many of our clients have engaged our service department to perform regular preventative maintenance to ensure reliability of their gates.
Automatic Gates is proud to be the supplier of wrought iron gates and fences to Glenneagles Homes. Their recent development in Malvern has been judged the HIA Victorian Home of the Year. At the recent HIA Australia awards in Brisbane, they have also been awarded the best townhouse/villa development.
